How Life Can Be A Dream - Achieving Your Goals

How Life Can Be A Dream - Achieving Your Goals by Dr. Robert C. Worstell

A lot of people - probably most of us - have at some point dreamed of being especially outstanding. Fantasies of being the star player on a team, or the homecoming queen, or fantastically rich - all these abound. Some simply want to be successful and have happy relationships.

For all our big dreams and great aspirations, our dreams remain just that - dreams. And our hopes for future success and notoriety seem to collect dust up in our mental attic.

Just in recognizing their presence could become another sad reminder in our lives. By reviewing the glorious hopes, we can find that far from living this life of excitment, we are only stuck in the daily grind of our routine jobs. Often, just barely existing under the debt and threat of job loss.

But what do you know? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to convert these dreams to realistic action.

Most people stop working to achieve any goal because they believe in a little white lie called "impossible." People have a lot of phrases to justify taking no action toward their goal: "I can't do this." or "It's too hard." "It's too unrealistic." "No one can do this."

And if our industry leaders and celebrities all thought this way, there would probably never be any inventions, discoveries, or breakthroughs which make up the list of human accomplishments.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

Another self imposed limit is where people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

To the degree you limit yourself with doubt and assumptions of pre-ordained failure, you may never be able to have any breakthrough past what you now consider to be impossible. Sky high dreams can only fail when you take no action toward any goal you've set.

You can try this exercise. On a sheet of paper, write down a goal you'd like to achieve. Now under that, make three headers - Things you know you can do; Things you might be able to do; and Things which are impossible to do.

Now work out the steps you can see right now that would help you achieve that goal. Put them under each header according to how hard you think they are to attain or achieve.

Now work out the steps you can see right now that would help you achieve that goal. Put them under each header according to how hard you think they are to attain or achieve.

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ‘impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ‘you might be able to do.’

Moving through this process, you may find that the goals you once considered impossible are now far more realistic and doable. The impossible has begun to look possible.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic. Break that star-high goal into little tiny steps which you can do right now. As you get these done, then you'll find that the 'might be able to do' steps are also able to be accomplished when you break them down. After awhile, you can see that nothing is particularly impossible to achieve.

It's only those who dream and never take action who inherit disappointment and disillusionment.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But through sheer desire and perseverance, and building on all the little and doable steps in between, these impossible dreams are now realities.

So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. Plan your work and work your plan. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

Because your life could be a dream - if you really you want it to be.

Known for extensive writing in self-help and personal development, Dr. Robert C. Worstell (see author interview) has just published a New Age fiction book, "The Dreamer Dreamed" which explores the concept of how life could be a dream, among other ideas. This book employs his understanding of various spiritual meaning books and research.

What Is in Your Mind Will Determine Your Destiny

Author: Jahiel -yasha- Kamhi

We need to be honest with ourselves!

We are sometimes angry, frustrated, envious or simply unsatisfied with everything in our life because we do not want to accept a reality: Often, our own mindset has kept us away from success and satisfaction.

Our life decisions did not come from nowhere; they came from inside us, from our own way of thinking and understanding how life works. Unfortunately, many times we are simply wrong. We are ready to blame everything and everyone except the main cause:  Ourselves!

But this is natural! It could be your subconscious mind and thoughts that are against you and you do not know that. Sometimes you cannot understand your own subconscious mind, and I cannot understand my subconscious mind, as well.

That is the way minds work.

Your conscious and subconscious minds plant the seeds for a successful or unsuccessful life.

If you cannot see solutions, possibilities or opportunities in your life, your mindset will keep you stuck in a still position, unfortunately sometimes this is forever! Understandably, you may blame life, family, friends or a government. Of course, you do not want to feel responsible for your own life. It is the easiest, but the wrong way, not to feel guilty.

If you open your mind and see and understand how your life and mind works, you are on your way to a much better life. If you change your mindset, struggles, envy, resentments and other obstacles will be the past tense for you.

This is not an easy job to do. It will take time, effort, patience and support from your side. Your determination and desire for change will keep you on the pathway to a better life.

Your thoughts are energy. Your determination and desire for success and your visualisation of success will create energy, and life itself will take care of the rest! That's how life works.

But, do not forget just one small step: ACTION.

Dreaming, planning and preparing, without action is fruitless and useless. Theory works on paper, but only action works in reality. Changing your mindset is not a theory; it is an action.

If you did not achieve your goal, think about what you said to yourself about your goal.

Did you have positive or negative thoughts, too low or too high expectations about your dream? How strong was your focus and determination for achieving your dream? The thoughts you constantly hold in your mind are very powerful tools. They may give you a push to success, or hold you in a rut indefinitely.

As I said: What is in your mind will determine your destiny.

Where Do You Put Your Focus?

By W Timothy Johnson

This is something I have been carefully monitoring for the last couple of months. The focus that I refer to is not what's on your mind, but rather what is your frame of reference?

Do you have a lack reference or an abundance reference? Do you say the following things a lot?

• I need to speak to more prospects.
• I want to have a million dollar a year income.
• I should clean my office.
• I wish I were already successful.
• I want a better lifestyle.
• I should have a better relationship with my spouse.

Do you notice the common thread there? All the sentences are about things that you have no conviction about. You may NEED to speak to more prospects. But will you? You may WANT a larger income, but will you get it?

Each of these statements uses phrases that evoke images of the past, as in I didn't do it before and I am not going to now. The words need, want, should and wish are all tools that will keep you from success. They show that your focus is on what you do not have, are not doing nor will do. They reinforce that you have made bad decisions in the past and will do so again.

When you say that you need to do something, do you do it? Sometimes, but not always. These words are common among those that have no real goals nor a direction. These words are lack based. They show that you do not believe in the things the sentences are about.

Try these:

• I will speak to more prospects.
• I will have a million dollar a year income.
• I will clean my office.
• I am successful.
• I require a better lifestyle.
• I desire a better relationship with my wife/husband.

Notice that these are about the same things. Only there is certainty about them and they evoke surety of results. The person who talks like this will be one who is positive about where they are going, because they already know the destination. They may not always have a specific plan, but they are generally headed in the right direction. Speaking and thinking with conviction changes your attitude which affects your actions which affects your results.

So keep an ear out for the way you use words. It is one of the most powerful tools you have, your vocabulary, yet most have no idea the real meaning behind what they say and think.

Think Your Way To Success With Positive Affirmations

Author: Priya Deelchand

Affirmations are statements that you think or say to yourself or others and they are based on your beliefs. These affirmations can be either positive or negative and have the ability to greatly influence your life and create your reality. In fact, affirmation is something that you are doing all the time. Every thought you think and every word you say is an affirmation. All of your inner dialogues are affirmations. You are continually affirming subconsciously with your words and thoughts and this flow of affirmations is creating your life experience in every moment.

You can achieve the success you desire by programming your mind with positive affirmations. In fact, most of the successful people in the world are not much different from you. The main difference between a successful person and an unsuccessful one is that most successful people have a success mindset.  Their inner dialogue is one of success and accomplishment and they always focus on the positive rather than on the negative.

You can use positive affirmations to achieve the success you desire and through the regular use of this powerful technique, you will begin to see wonderful changes in your life you never imagined possible. With positive affirmations, you can conquer your limiting beliefs and negative thoughts and make success a reality for you. Ralph Marston once said, "There is a thought in your mind right now. The longer you hold on to it, the more you dwell upon it, the more life you give to that thought. Give it enough life, and it will become real. So make sure the thought is indeed a great one."

In order to achieve success, it is very important for you to develop a conscious and focused affirmation process. You must become aware of exactly what you are affirming through your thoughts and consciously and purposefully focus those affirmations on positive and empowering statements. These positive affirmations will reprogram your subconscious mind and allow you to become more and more successful. By developing the habit of using positive affirmations regularly and consistently your subconscious will adapt to the new information it is being provided with. As Claude M. Bristol rightly said "It's the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen."

For your affirmations to be effective, it is important that you create your own affirmations based on your specific conditions and circumstances. It is very important to remember that your affirmations are only going to be efficient if you can feel what you are affirming. It is the emotions that your affirmations create that will attract the success that you desire to you. The most effective positive affirmations are phrases that are in alignment with you, empower you and allow you to feel a shift in your emotions as you repeat them.

You can repeat the following affirmations to become more successful or you can create your own affirmations.

1.         I am very successful now.

2.         Success and achievement are natural outcomes for me.

3.         I attract success and prosperity with all of my ideas.

4.         Success comes very easily and effortlessly to me.

5.         Everything I do turns into success.

6.         My success is contagious, other people like it, seek it and respect it.

7.         All of my thoughts and ideas lead me straight to success.

8.         Prosperity and success is my natural state of mind.

9.         I am a success magnet.

10.      I am the example of success and triumph.

You can all become as successful as you desire by using positive affirmations regularly and consistently. Remember that success is a state of mind and if you want success, start thinking of yourself as a success. As John Addison rightly said, "You've got to win in your mind before you win in your life."

Can You Be Successful in 2013?

How fulfilling is your life and does it present you with meaning every day? Are you successful? Or more importantly, do you even know what success looks and feels like for you? Do you work to just get "THROUGH YOUR DAY" or are you living an inspired life where you are constantly looking for ways to get as much as possible "FROM YOUR DAY"? Discover what success means to you, then dare to unleash your appetite for inviting it into your experience and then you will be able to begin feeding on the abundance, which is all around you.

Attract Success by the Person you Become
It is seldom, if ever, that success will break your door down and arrive in one thunderous boom. Success is something you attract, as you grow, expand and finally you become, the type of person you need to be, to attract the type and scope of success you desire into your experience. Invest sufficient time, energy and resources into developing the right skills, abilities, knowledge, attitude, strength of character and consistently project a positive demeanour to the world, seeing opportunity in everything, completely believing in your unlimited potential and any level of success is possible for you.

Are you Willing to Try
The level of success you will get to enjoy in your life, is directly proportional to your beliefs and commitment around "What you are willing to Try to do" to live the success you desire. What you accomplish and finally get to make your reality, is proportional to "What you actually try" i.e. the daily action you take or fail to take. Take control over your future and have the courage to "Try", all you risk is inviting success, meaning and fulfilment into your life.

Recipe for creating Sustainable Long Term Success
The recipe for preparing a hearty serving of "ACHIEVEMENT" is to firstly mix HUGE servings of perseverance and persistence in a bowl, apply liberal amounts of determination, mix thoroughly, then flambé with education and finally apply a sprinkling of talent and genius. Servings are limited only by your appetite for "ACHIEVEMENT".

Don't Let your Fear of Failure Stop you
Action Idea: Clarify exactly what success means to you and discover why it is important for you to succeed. This clarity and an understanding of your motive around why it is important for you will ignite and sustain the flame of desire in your belly. This deep desire and drive will help you to overcome your fear of failure.

When your desire for success exceeds your fear of failure, you illuminate the path to your success with your flaming enthusiasm. This genuine enthusiasm will allow the people around you to see the authentic you, where they will get to see the real value you bring and they will be willing to support you where they can. There are very few successful hermits out there. You right people will support and encourage your success.

Choose to be Successful
You can continue to choose to remain trapped in your comfort zone and never challenge yourself and there is a slim possibility that you may create meaning in your life. Or you can choose to apply your inspired energy and activity daily, to everything you do, where over time, you will get to consistently feel satisfaction and fulfilment, as you create the exact future you desire. What are you waiting for? Another wonderful year is drawing to a close and a completely new beginning awaits in 2013. Dare to pull the trigger and make 2013 your best year that you have lived.

Tips On Success Strategies For Your Personal Life

by Irabor Mark

Having goals to make your life, the way that you want it is important. You should think about the different levels of success that you want and how far you are willing to go after them. Think about all the different methods you can come up with so that you are using your best interest to be as successful as possible.

Being committed is going to be something that anyone who is serious about his or her success should do. You need to be committed in life to thinking about all the different strategies that you can work up. Are you able to be strong and determinate in life to be a huge success? If so then, you are ready to take the next step in life. This step is going to be one that takes you over the top and gives you the ability to be as successful as possible.

There is nothing in life that you cannot do. All you really need in life is to have a great determination and a strong personality. You should always be ready for what you need to do. Having goals is one way to make sure that you have the power to be a huge success and able to make dreams happen. Your dreams are very crucial to your happiness and all the goals that you have. Without goals, you are going to be a sad and very unstable person.

Being goal oriented is going to make you appreciate everything that you do in life. You should always think about the things that you do and how they are going to affect your life. Are you doing everything that you can to be as successful as possible? Make sure that you are doing all that you can to stay on top of what you need to do. If you plan something, the best thing that you can do is stick to it. You have to make sure that you are trying your best to bring all of your goals to the front of the line and make them happen for you.

Commitment to everything you do is going to be especially important. You should work hard at what you are doing and keep an open mind to all of the possibilities in life. Choose your thoughts carefully and be willing to go to the next step. You should always work hard and think about what is most important to you. There is nothing that can stop you when you have the right thoughts jammed into your head and thinking about it all the time. You will find more satisfaction in your life when you are sure of what is going on and how hard you have to work.

Others will see your commitment and what you are doing. Once you are recognized for all your hard work and determination, you are going to feel great about what you have achieved. You are going to have more success and know that you did what you had to in order to be a great success story in the end. Do not hesitate to be sure, of what you want in life. When you are setting goals and making commitments to certain things in life, you are the one that is going to be in control and choose what you do next.

Remember goals can be made everyday. You are the one that is going to be able to choose your goals and everything that you do. Make sure that you have something in mind for your life and then go after it. Do not let anyone stand in your way of making your dreams work for you and go after each and everyone. There is no stopping you when you keep all the power within yourself and use your goals to keep you committed to what is most important.

Achieve the Impossible, One Step at a Time

Author: Andrew Horton

At some stage in your life, you still dared to dream and you had those grandiose goals and aspirations, to live a life of meaning and fulfilment. What killed that drive and determination in you? Was it because you really were dreaming the impossible  or you just simply did not have what it took or was it something else altogether? Was it because the people around you told you that what you wanted to achieve in your life or business was impossible? Eventually, after hearing that negative talk from everyone around you, you started to believe them and so you simply gave up on your dream for your life or business.

There is only one opinion that matters when it comes to following your heart and living your dreams. The opinions of everyone around you are nothing more than feedback from your environment. As you know feedback can be very useful to ensure that you have considered all the possible challenges, or to help you assess any knowledge or skills, you may require. It is seldom a reason to kill your dreams and to accept an average life, with no meaning or fulfilment.

As you know, if you have ever tried to light a campfire. Nothing will happen until that small spark hits the kindling. Those small flames, which start to flare up, in the kindling, will very quickly die out, if you do not add more of the right type of dry wood to the fire, to help build the fire and add critical mass to it. If you add huge pieces of wet wood with the bark still on it, the small fire you have created with the kindling, will be unable to ignite the big piece of wood and the small fire will quickly die out.  The same is true with any new idea or dream you may have, for your life or business. When that idea catches fire in your belly, it is important that you take action immediately, you must then keep adding the right amount daily activity, to this small flame of inspiration, to help keep the idea alive and to eventually to bring your idea to life.

Take the Right Type of action

If you do nothing and you do not take any action at all, those initial flames will obviously just die out. If on the other hand you rush headlong into attempting to turn your idea into reality, as soon as possible. You will also kill those flames of inspiration, as you will feel overwhelmed and quickly move back to your comfort zone. The simplest example I can offer here is one where someone, gets all inspired to get fit. So they sign up for a new gym contract. They rush into the gym and for the first three days, they go every day for an hour of vigorous exercise. As you know we are a pleasure seeking and pain avoiding species, so as the level of discomfort increases as we overload our bodies. We quickly lose interest and return to our comfort zone and almost immediately stop exercising altogether.

If that person had thought the process through and instead of rushing headlong into the gym, every day, they had instead, started slowly. Doing the right type of exercise, which was fun and enjoyable. Not overtaxing themselves, they would have been far more likely to keep going to the gym and their new exercise routine would have eventually become part of the daily routine. If we use this approach, to achieve any goal we want in our life or business, where we quickly take the right action, which helps to keep the flame of inspiration burning, and we keep adding the right activities to our initial action. We will gradually build up the critical mass we need to sustain our efforts and eventually achieve our goal.

Sustaining the Effort

The second challenge we have when we have a new idea, is to sustain the initial effort required, to get the idea going, when we do not see any immediate results. Imagine a hand water pump, with the water level about 3 meters below the ground. When you prime the pump (add a little water to fill the pump) and you begin pressing the handle, up and down. You will see no water come out of the spout, for quite a long time, as the water is slowly pumped from far beneath the ground and it gradually rises to towards the surface. If you stop pumping before the water gets to the surface, it will simply just return to the level it was at, before you started pumping.

This is how most people tackle any new goal, they start out taking action every day and as they do not see any progress for a while. They stop taking action, before the actions they are taking have had time to gather momentum and so they never get to see the results they desire. In the example of the water pump above, if the person pushing the lever on the hand pump, kept pushing the lever long enough, to give the water a chance to start flowing from the spout. It would take very little effort to keep the water flowing. The same is true for achieving your goals or turning ideas into something tangible and real. You need to persevere and keep taking those small actions every day until you see results. Once the results start to appear, it is really easy to sustain the effort required.

Imagine a huge horizontal flywheel, rotating on a vertical shaft. If you grabbed hold of it and applied force to start the flywheel turning. You would only manage to move the wheel a fraction. As you continue to apply force to the flywheel it will slowly, build up momentum, until it is spinning at speed. It is not the first push or any one push, no matter how big that push may have been, which allowed that flywheel to build up the speed and momentum it now has. It was the accumulation of all the small pushes, which added up to make it speed along. Exactly the same is true for the almost insignificant goal specific actions you will take every. No single small action is going to result in the success you want. It is the accumulation of all those almost insignificant actions, over time, when added together will allow you to succeed.

Achieving sustainable success is thus the result of taking action, before the idea has had a chance to fizzle out, to then keep taking small actions daily, to sustain this flame of inspiration and to use your willpower to sustain these efforts long enough to actually start seeing results. The biggest secret of all is to accept that goals are not achieved in a day, but rather daily, with sustained and determined effort.

The Secrets to Happiness - Be Unconditionally Happy

Author: Broderick Boyd

Today I want to talk to you about another powerful concept that will help you to stop being unhappy in life, to stop being depressed and to stop being anxious and actually start being truly HAPPY, become more attractive and also more productive. This powerful concept is called "be unconditionally happy".

Most people put conditions on their life happiness. They say that they need to be financially successful or they need to be married or they need to have a certain house or car or achievement in order to allow themselves to be happy. This is a painful mistake that will actually lead to them being less effective and less able to achieve the things that they want to achieve in their lives. If you always depend on something external to make you happy, you will never be happy and you will always be suffering, in part because even if you do have that thing outside of you, you will then always worry about losing it. Here are 3 powerful techniques that will help you to master this principle:

Happiness is a Choice

We can choose to be happy. Happiness is simply a matter of choice. All we have to do is decide that we are going to allow ourselves to be happy, and then we can feel that way right now. Happiness IS the path to happiness, and by making the choice to allow ourselves to BE a happy person, and to live a happy life, we can really have this beautiful kind of life and live it every day.

Let it All Go and Just Be Happy

The next powerful technique is to simply let it all go. Let all of the negativity go. If you have any negative thoughts, negative beliefs, negative feelings, negative relationships or any other negative things in your life, simply just let it go. It's just like holding a pen in your hand, and then dropping that pen to the ground. Once you let all of the negativity go and just let it float away without resisting it, your natural happy self will emerge, and you will be unconditionally happy.

It's Your Responsibility to Be Happy

It's your responsibility to be happy. You are responsible for this, because you make the ultimate CHOICE if you are going to be happy or not. You must choose to be happy, because when you are happy, you make the world a better place. You begin to spread your happiness automatically, since emotions are contagious, and you become much more productive and you affect positive change in the world. You also inspire others to be happy, and they in turn become more productive and inspire others as well. Change the world for the better by knowing that it's your responsibility to be happy on this planet.

So that's the concept, be unconditionally happy. Stop being unhappy, stop putting conditions on your happiness, stop being depressed and stop being anxious and start creating more inspiration in your life and in the world, become far more attractive and also increase your productivity and effectiveness exponentially by being unconditionally happy today. Make the choice to be happy, let all of the negativity go in your life and in your mind, and know that it's your responsibility to be happy, if you truly want to make the universe a better place for all of us, and especially yourself, to live in, to grow, and to flourish in a truly beautiful way.

What Is Hypnosis?

Here is a dictionary definition:

Hypnosis is the induction of a state of consciousness in which a person loses the power of voluntary action and is highly aware of suggestion or direction.

To give a comprehensive answer you could say that hypnosis is often over exaggerated. We use the term “hypnosis” to describe a trance like state.

However, in reality we all go in and out of mild “trances” every day; those moments when our minds wander and we fantasize, we even enter a hypnosis like state when we simply sit down to read the sunday paper and give it our full attention - going into a mini trance and blocking the rest of the world out.

These trance like states, and they are all natural and safe. Hypnosis simply puts you into one of these mild “trance” states purposefully - with the aim of sending powerful hypnotic suggestions to help you change your life.

Although you might not remember everything which is said to you once you enter a trance you are not actually asleep, hypnosis is actually a heightened state where you are both relaxed but have an open mind.

Due to this heightened way of thinking you can use hypnosis to rewire your self beliefs and patterns of thinking.

Hypnosis gains access the subconscious mind and reduces the unwanted traits that prevent personal growth.

What can hypnosis help?

Hypnosis has a history of treating phobic disorders and fears, or at least this is how it first started out. It then began to be used with great success for weight loss and stopping smoking.

Hypnosis is now used for the elimination of almost any negative belief, it is used to help a wide range of health problems, and has a massive place in helping people to achieve the "success mindset", to achieve their specific goals in life.

What do you do when you lack motivation?

Personally, I have found that I lack motivation the most when my belief level in whatever it is that I am doing is low. That is basically the only reason why I believe that I don't feel like I'm capable of doing something or have the drive to even do it. If you are doing something, and you have a low belief in it, chances are you won't be so motivated to do it if you feel this way!

So, anytime you find yourself lacking the motivation and drive to do something, ask yourself how much you believe in whatever it is that you are doing. There is nothing more discouraging than just going through the motions in anything! If there is no belief that you will accomplish a certain thing, then odds are you won't be so motivated to do the required tasks.

Success will bring you motivation

Success will bring you motivation in anything that you set out to do. If you are doing something, such as working out to lose weight and you are not seeing any visible results, then your motivation will be lackluster to say the least. If you are doing something and you are seeing results, then odds are you will have more motivation to continue doing what ever it is to obtain your goal.

Keep your eye on what you want

What do you really want from whatever it is you are doing? If obtaining that thing excites and inspires you, then keep your mind focused on how you feel once you obtain that thing. We all want to live happier and fulfilled lives! We can do that by focusing on what makes us happy and then going after it. We find that we lack motivation when we see no visible evidence of getting any closer to what we want.

The trick is to find some evidence that you are experiencing success, whether big or small successes, along the way that will keep your motivation level high. When you are lacking that motivation that means you are taking your focus off of your successes and putting it on your failures. Whatever you focus on expands. If you focus on your failures, then you won't be motivated. If you focus on your success, then you will be motivated.

So if you are lacking motivation, simply shift your focus to things that are bringing you closer to what you want in life and your successes. You will find that by doing that you motivation level will always be through the roof!

3 Simple Ways To Reclaim Your Power Author: Nathan Amaral

The really good news is that it doesn't have to be some long, grueling process. You can start today by doing these three simple things:

Become still

In the fast paced world we live in, it's easy to get caught up in the chaos. There is nonstop noise and endless distractions that can take you away from what's really important. It can also drown out your inner voice, the connection you have to who you are at the very core of your being. It's when this connection is severed that you start to feel disconnected from the world around you, disconnected from yourself, and powerless over the direction your life is headed.

In order to restore the connection, you must learn to be still. Spend time alone with your thoughts, without any distractions or noise. This allows you tap into your innermost being, your true self. It's here where your true power lies.

Take responsibility for your life

It's easy to fall into the trap of becoming a victim – of thinking that we are powerless over the events in our life. After all, this mindset is perpetuated by society, the media, and many of our friends and families. The truth, however, is that we have complete control over the only thing that matters – how we choose to respond to unexpected events that occur.

The reality is that all events are neutral – they are neither good nor bad. It's how we perceive them that matters. For instance, someone losing their job could see it as a disaster of epic proportions – or they could see it as a chance to finally start their own business they've been dreaming about for years.

Obviously there are things like losing a loved one or dealing with a traumatic event that are extremely difficult to go through, but you still have the ability to choose to find the good in the situation and not be held hostage by your emotions.

Start taking a look at how you view the things that happen in your life, and decide right now to never be a victim again.

Be Happy in the Present

Many of us spend our days pining over our past or yearning for a future event that hasn't yet occurred. We feel like our best years are behind us – or that we can only enjoy our lives and feel satisfied when x occurs – a new job, a relationship, etc. It's a mindset that stifles the pleasure of living in the moment and causes you to delay or deny your happiness in just being.

When you attach conditions to your happiness it means you are looking for fulfillment outside of yourself - and you will never find it there. You must look within to find real joy, in the present moment, before you can ever move forward into the life you deserve.

When you choose to put these three simple steps into motion, a huge shift will occur in your life – you will be approaching situations from a position of power and your life will be transformed in the process.

Achieve Your Wildest Dreams - It's All Possible If You Know How

"Every day do something that will inch you closer to a better tomorrow."
Doug Firebaugh

Are you doing something every day to take you toward where you want to be, or are you drifting through life being buffeted from one crisis to another?

Maybe things are not that bad. Maybe you just have a feeling that something could be better.

It's a sad fact that many of us find ourselves trapped in lives we didn't choose. We may have had vague ideas at some stage about what we were going to do, but somehow life just came along and overtook all our plans.

Life has a way of getting in the way of our hopes and dreams and the pace of life can be so fast that it can feel as if we have to expend all our energy on just standing still. This means we don't have the time or energy to do anything about making changes. It feel almost impossible to just carve out the time to just stop and think about where you are going.

Do you recognise yourself in this pattern? Do you feel that somehow life has conspired against you and you're now stuck on a treadmill with no idea of how to get off?

Well, the good news is that you can do something about it. No matter how bad things seem, there are things you can do to make it better. Maybe you find that hard to believe, but it really is possible and there are a few things you will have to do.

First of all, and this is really important - you need to recognise that you are responsible for your future happiness. You are the only one who can make decisions about what you are going to do and how you are going to spend your time. You may have commitments to job, marriage, family, but you have made these commitments. There is no point in trying to blame someone else, you made the decision, so you need to take action to make the changes you want to make.

Think about how you choose to spend your precious time - how much time do you spend at work? Too much? No-one ever said on their deathbed, "I wish I had spent more time at the office." Think about where your priorities lie. Maybe it's time you made some adjustments to change your work/life balance.

And how do you relax? Spend time with the family? Go to the gym? Watch tv? All of these are great, but are they taking you toward where you want to be. Are they inching you toward your goal. Anything that is not taking you toward your goal is taking you away from your goal.

Remember, only you get to decide about how you spend your time and what you do. Maybe you need to make different decisions and free up time to make the necessary changes.

If you found that a difficult concept to accept, then this next one may be more challenging. Sometimes if you are going to improve your life you need to let something go. We all know you can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs.

Maybe there are some things in your life which are holding you back from living the life you want.

That's the real challenge. If you are going to free up the time to allow you to make the changes what are you going to stop doing?

You need a way of sorting out what you want from life. You need some kind of help, because if you could have done it by yourself, you would have. That sounds blunt, but it's a fact. The real sign of failure (or madness) is to keep on doing the same things and expecting different results.

STOP!

You need to make changes. If you were happy and successful you would not have found this article. You're here for a reason.

So what kind of help is available? Well you could get a Life Coach. Coaches will work with you and help you set some goals and then give you the help, support and encouragement you need so you can achieve them.

The disadvantage of Life Coaching is that it can be expensive and, while a good Life Coach will pay for themselves over time, that may not help you if you don't have the money to pay for one until you get there.

Alternatively you can work on yourself. This is cheaper, but you don't have the back up support that a good Life Coach can bring.

Either way, you will have to make some changes. If something isn't working for you, then stop doing it. Only a fool keeps on battering their head of a brick wall. If something isn't working you need to change.

Now you don't need me to tell you that change is hard. People like the familiar, no matter how uncomfortable something is, there is still a tendency to think that it's 'better the devil you know'. That means that when you get ready to make the changes you may meet with some resistance from the significant others in your home, personal and professional life. So you need to find ways of communicating with them that will allow you to help them see where you are going and to take them along with you.

So, are you ready to make the changes you need to make?

- Ready to plan for a successful future?;
- Ready to maximise your opportunities for success.: and
- Ready to explore new possibilities and clear out the old, restrictive, thinking.

Change is certainly possible - but it will only happen if you make it happen. It doesn't have to be hard, but it does need some effort.

Are you ready to make the changes? Maybe you're ready to read more about how You Can Achieve Anything. Click the link now and get started.

Reach Your Goals Much Easier With Subliminal Downloads

If you have set goals for yourself and you are determined to reach them then congratulations - this is the crucial first step toward success.

  • Do you want to accomplish something huge with you life?
  • Would you like to reach huge levels of success?
  • Do you dream of doing something incredible?

No matter what your goal is, whether it is weight loss, creating a successful business, learning a foreign language, or becoming successful in the sporting world, a solid strategy, along with a focus on your goal are essential.

If you're truly focused to your goal, and really serious about reaching success then you will most likely be trying everything possible to get ahead - reading guides on the area, talking to people who have additional expertise, and seeking to align your mind for success in every way.

If you are trying everything you can to reach success then you are in good companyyou ought to be proud instead of embarrassed - some of the most successful individuals in business, and sport especially read self improvement books, ask for help and try out several different things to get ahead and acquire a competitive advantage.

For example when Tiger Woods was younger he was already devoted to turning into a world class golfer, and he put in lots of practice, but he also experimented with a few mind development tools like subliminal audio and hypnotherapy - these helped to sharpen his mind, and increase his focus.

Stephen Speilberg, although pursuing a completely different dream also sought out alternate means of acquiring an edge and becoming successful. When he was new he did a lot of "modeling" other people's habits and behavior - he actually purchased a suit and hung around the film studios pretending to be a producer - he wanted to emulate the people he looked up to, and consider using any means he possibly could to reach success. Again, he likewise became a fan of subliminal audio - later claiming that they helped to boost his self-discipline and fortify his mind against setbacks.

If you're serious about accomplishing your goals then you need to try everything it is possible to achieve success. One way, as mentioned above is with subliminal messages. It works as a mild type of hypnosis, by penetrating your mind with beneficial messages again and again until they are acknowledged by you, and begin to change areas of your character, as well as your self beliefs in a positive way.
